Hardy's Lawn Cutting

About Hardy's Lawn Cutting

There is a sound this town makes on a Saturday morning in July: one mower two streets over, then another answering it, then a third. Hardy's Lawn Cutting is somewhere in that chorus, cutting grass and trimming it out along fences, mailboxes and beds until a yard sits level from one property line to the other. No part of that is complicated, and doing it right anyway is the entire point. Gulf heat makes an afternoon route a test of will, so the work goes early, steady and finished. A cold drink after the last stop, and a street full of yards standing at the same height — that is a good day in Ocean Springs.
