About Danny McClain's Tree Care, LLC

Head north out of town on Highway 57 and the spreading oaks give way to pine — tall, limber, quick to drop a top when a hard blow comes up from the Gulf. Danny McClain's Tree Care, LLC works both kinds of country: pruning and thinning, taking down what has gone hollow, clearing limbs off roofs and drives, and cutting brush back where the woods lean on a yard. Every tree is its own puzzle of rope, angle and weight, solved a piece at a time so the ground below stays untouched. When the last section is down and the drive is swept, the sky over a house looks changed, and the family can breathe easier about the next storm. That's the part of the job worth doing well.
