About Cambium Tree Care & Preservation, Inc.

Cambium is the living sleeve just under the bark, the layer where a tree keeps adding to itself — a fitting name in a town that measures its wealth in shade. Cambium Tree Care & Preservation, Inc. works the canopy over Ocean Springs with pruning, deadwood removal, cabling and bracing, and the patient attention that keeps an old oak standing over a driveway it predates by a century. Spanish moss sways, limbs grow heavy, and wind off the Sound finds every weak crotch it can. This work is done from the inside of the tree outward, and the result is a shape nobody remarks on, because it simply looks the way a tree ought to look. Keeping that canopy on its feet is the whole of the job.
