About Cook Lawn & Tractor

South of town the Natchez Trace Parkway comes to its end, and the country around it opens into pasture, tree line, and long fields that need a tractor more than a push mower. Cook Lawn & Tractor takes that work: bush hogging overgrown acreage, mowing lots, cutting brush back to a usable edge, and keeping ordinary yards on schedule the rest of the week. Late August in Adams County turns everything shoulder-high in about a fortnight, and there is real pleasure in dropping a deck into that and watching a field come back to something you can walk across. The cab work and the hand work belong to the same job — a field isn't done until its fenceline is trimmed too. Come evening the dust settles gold behind the tires and the place looks tended again.
