Magnolia Green

About Magnolia Green

Up on the ridge along 29th Avenue, a June evening smells like cut grass and magnolia bloom at the same time, and the mosquitoes arrive right on schedule. Magnolia Green keeps lawns thick enough to crowd the weeds out — mowing and edging on a set round, fertilization and weed control timed to the Mississippi calendar, string trimming, bed care and mulch. Deep green turf in the heat of a Meridian summer takes feeding, not just cutting. We like walking a place in July and finding nothing there but grass. Everything else in a yard gets easier once the turf is doing its job.
