About J and E lawncare LLC

In McLain the Chickasawhay River slides slow and tea-dark beneath the pines, and by June the grass here grows faster than the days grow long. J and E lawncare LLC works these Greene County yards on the rhythm the heat sets — blades turning early, before the humidity thickens and the air goes still with the smell of cut grass and longleaf sap. The work is mowing, trimming and edging: a crisp line where the lawn meets the drive, fence corners squared off, clippings blown clear of the walk so the whole place reads as tended. When autumn sends the pine straw and hardwood leaves down over everything, they rake and haul it out and hand the yard back its shape. In a town this size a kept lawn shows from the road, out toward Leakesville or Richton, and that is reason enough to be there at first light.
