About Murphy Lawn Care, LLC

Before the heat finds Madison there is an hour when the Bermuda still holds its dew and the loblollies along the Natchez Trace stand in flat gray light. Murphy Lawn Care, LLC starts its days in that hour, when a mower deck lays down a stripe you can read from the porch. Mowing, edging, string trimming and a full blow-down of the walks and drive: the work is plain, and the pleasure is in how sharp the line sits where turf meets concrete. Summer here asks for a steady hand, because the grass grows fast and the afternoons come loud with rain. By the time the sun is over the pines, a yard that was shaggy at dawn is squared away for the week.
