The live oaks in Long Beach grow sideways as much as up, reaching their limbs over roofs and driveways and hanging them with moss until you forget how much they weigh. Southern Tree and Turf works both halves of the yard that implies: trimming and limb removal up in the canopy, and mowing, edging and trimming down on the grass that has to live in all that shade. Taking weight off a limb before storm season is quiet good sense, and thinning the canopy lets enough light through that the turf underneath finally gets a chance. Cut wood and brush go on the truck instead of stacking up at the curb. A yard where the trees and the grass are both doing well is a harder thing to arrange than it looks, and worth the trouble every time.
