About Southern Green Lawn & Landscape LLC

Winter is short here. A few gray weeks pass over Leland's downtown blocks, over the blues museum and the little town that likes to call itself the birthplace of a certain frog, and then one warm week in March the yards wake up all at once. Southern Green Lawn & Landscape LLC meets that first cut of the year — mowing the winter mat down, retracing every edge, trimming back what crept over the walks while nobody was watching. There is something plainly satisfying about the moment a dull lawn turns and holds a line again. From there the mowing settles into its weekly beat and stays there deep into the hot months, with cleanups on either end of the calendar. It is steady, visible work, done street by street in a flat green corner of the Delta.
