About Orkin

Mid-morning in July, the streets off Highway 82 go still and the only thing moving in Leland is a mower and its shadow. Orkin handles lawn care here — regular mowing, edging, trimming — on the schedule Delta summers demand, which is to say often, because grass in this soil does not wait on anybody. Storms build up out of the southwest most afternoons, so the day starts early and the work gets done before the sky changes its mind. A yard finished clean before that first rumble is a good hour's argument for doing it right. Through the milder months the visits shift toward cleanup and keeping, so nothing gets away between one season and the next.
