About Steven's Lawn Services

In Belhaven the old oaks lean over the street until a whole block becomes one long room of shade, and the grass underneath wants a careful hand. Steven's Lawn Services mows and edges through those neighborhoods, trims shrubs back off the porch rails, works the string trimmer around brick borders and root flare, and clears the cuttings from walk and drive before leaving. St. Augustine under heavy shade is a different job than turf in open sun, and it gets treated that way — a taller cut, a lighter pass, an eye on where the light actually falls. Much of the work runs late into the long Mississippi evening, when the heat finally lets go and the mockingbirds start up over Fortification Street. What stays behind is a yard that looks composed: clean lines at the sidewalk, hedges squared, nothing tracked out into the road.
