About Po'Boy Basic Cut Lawn Service

The first mower of the day starts up while south Jackson is still blue-gray, before the heat climbs out of the pines along Terry Road. Po'Boy Basic Cut Lawn Service works the yards near Battlefield Park on that early shift — mowing, edging along the walk, running the string trimmer where fence posts crowd the grass, then blowing the drive clean so the clippings never reach the street. Bermuda in a Hinds County July grows like it has somewhere to be, and the answer is a steady week-in schedule rather than one heroic afternoon. There is a real satisfaction in the last pass, when the stripes line up and the curb reads sharp against the clay. By the time the cicadas get loud, the truck is three houses down and the first yard is already sitting quiet in its own shade.
