Woods 'A' Lawn Service

About Woods 'A' Lawn Service

Late afternoon west of Indianola, the light comes in low across the catfish ponds and every blade of grass throws its own small shadow. That is the hour Woods 'A' Lawn Service likes best — mowing done, trimmer quiet, the yard settling into evening with its lines still showing. Through the growing season the work is steady: cutting, edging, clearing whatever the wind carries in off the fields. Come fall, when the pickers run and dust hangs gold over Highway 82, it turns to leaves and limbs and getting lawns tidy before the cool sets in. Indianola is a town people drive slowly through, and a kept yard is worth something on that drive.
