Same Day Lawn Care & Landscape

About Same Day Lawn Care & Landscape

Late October in Hazlehurst turns the pecans loose all at once, and a yard fills with leaves faster than anyone means to deal with them. Same Day Lawn Care & Landscape reads that turning of the year the way farmers read a sky: the last close mowings, beds cleared out, leaves gathered off the grass before they mat down and smother it. Out toward the piney ridges east of town the mornings smell like resin and woodsmoke, and there is a plain pleasure in leaving behind a lawn that looks rested rather than abandoned. Trimming tidies the fence lines, edging redraws the shape a summer of growth blurred. Come the mild weeks of a Mississippi winter, those yards sit clean and ready for the first warm spell.
