About SweetBay Companies

The sweetbay grows where the ground stays damp — creek bottoms down toward Brooklyn and Black Creek, silver-backed leaves flipping over every time the wind shifts. SweetBay Companies takes its name from that country and its work from these yards: mowing on a set rotation, edging, trimming, beds mulched and shaped, a whole property brought back into order in one visit. June here is heavy and green, growth pushing hard between rains, and staying ahead of it is the discipline of the season. There is a plain pride in pulling out of a drive and seeing lines in the grass that were not there an hour ago. Hattiesburg hands out a long growing year, and the trick is respecting all of it.
