About Scenic Landscapes

Follow the Longleaf Trace out of town at dusk and you get a free lesson in composition — pine trunks standing like columns, the mown corridor running beside the asphalt, everything ordered without ever looking forced. Scenic Landscapes carries that idea into Hattiesburg yards: mowing lines that follow the shape of the ground, edges cut where the eye already expects them, shrubs pruned toward a form instead of a box. Come March the azaleas and dogwoods handle the loud part, and the work is to give them a setting worth standing in — beds mulched, borders defined, turf even underfoot. Near Chain Park the older lots have grown their own character across decades, and the aim is to reveal it rather than paper over it. A yard done right is one nobody has to explain.
