Adam’s Lawn Service

About Adam’s Lawn Service

Fog lifts off the Bouie before sunrise and lies low in the yards on the north side of town, and that is when Adam's Lawn Service starts moving. The first pass of the mower leaves a dark stripe through wet grass; by the second lap the sun is over the pines and the whole yard is steaming. Trimming around fence posts, the mailbox, the roots of an old water oak — the small places a deck can't reach are where a yard is won. Blowers clear the drive, the walk, the steps. By the time Hattiesburg is properly awake, the street looks combed.
