Summer Lawns

About Summer Lawns

On an August afternoon in Gulfport you can watch the thunderhead build out over the Sound and know almost to the minute when the rain will arrive. Summer Lawns works against that clock — mowing, edging and trimming at pace so the yard is finished and the walks are blown clean before the first fat drops hit the driveway. Heat is the constant here, and the grass answers it by growing fast and thick, which only means the mower comes back sooner. Beds get weeded, shrubs get cut back off the eaves, and the branches a coastal storm scatters get gathered up and carried off. Twenty minutes after the rain moves through the sun is back out, and the lawn is standing there looking sharp.
