Carters Cutters

About Carters Cutters

By four o'clock in July the air along Highway 82 wobbles above the pavement, and Greenville yards take the sun straight on. Carters Cutters keeps them cut through it — mowing, string trimming, edging the concrete back to a clean line, then clearing the walks. There is a real satisfaction in the last stripe of a hot afternoon, when the yard is squared away and shade finally reaches the porch. Work like this gets measured in evenings: somebody stepping outside onto grass that was handled that day. Around Greenville and out toward Leland and Arcola, that is the whole idea.
