Lungrin’s Lawncare

About Lungrin’s Lawncare

By two o'clock in July, thunderheads pile up white over Madison County and the air off the pines goes thick and still. Lungrin's Lawncare has learned to read that sky — get the mowing finished, the string trimmer run around the mailbox posts and fence lines, the walks cleared before the first fat drops hit the clay. Bermuda and centipede grow fast on Flora's ground, and a yard left to itself for two weeks will happily remind you of it. The reward is the long view down a freshly cut lawn in the gold hour after a storm passes, everything washed and standing straight.
