About Monkeys landscaping

There's a playful ring to the name Monkeys Landscaping, but the work it does in Ethel comes down to sure hands and an eye for line. This little Attala County town sits among red-clay hills and stands of pine and oak, the sort of country where a yard is half lawn and half woods leaning in. Landscaping here means drawing a clear boundary between the two: mowing the open grass smooth, cutting back what creeps from the brush, keeping the beds by the porch neat. At high noon in July, with cicadas droning in the oaks, a just-mown lawn in Ethel looks like the coolest spot around.
