Lawn Nurse

About Lawn Nurse

Coastal lawns go tan and quiet in January, and every winter somebody in D'Iberville decides theirs has finally died. It has not — centipede and St. Augustine only sleep down here, and by March they come back green from the bottom up. Lawn Nurse keeps the calendar on that: mowing through the long growing season, edging and trimming to hold the borders, working out the weeds that do not belong, and cleaning the yard up at the turns of the year. Treating a lawn as something living, on its own schedule rather than yours, is most of what makes one look good in July. That is the approach across D'Iberville, Woolmarket and the neighborhoods along the bay.
