About J D Lawncare Services ( Jerome Dunnigan)

The route starts early, before the dew lifts off the grass in north Columbus and before the day has had any ideas. J D Lawncare Services runs yard to yard the way a person does when the name on the truck is his own — mowing, edging, trimming, hedges, leaf and limb cleanup. One yard at a time, finished all the way before the next one begins. Neighbors get used to the sound and the schedule, and a street where somebody has been coming a while simply looks different from one where nobody has. By the time the afternoon storms stack up west of town, the work is already behind him.
