Summer afternoons in Clinton announce themselves from the west — a white thunderhead stacking up over the flatlands, then thirty minutes of rain and steam. Same Day Lawn Care & Landscape has learned to read that sky and get the mowing, trimming and edging finished on the near side of it. Grass here can put on an inch in one week of heat and wet, so a yard left waiting is a yard that turns into a field. Overgrown lots get knocked down and brought back onto a routine, and the walks and drives get cleared before the truck rolls. Quick does not have to mean rushed.
