Joe's On the Go Lawn Care Service

About Joe's On the Go Lawn Care Service

Two highways cross at Clarksdale, 61 and 49, and sooner or later everything in the Delta passes through. Joe's On the Go Lawn Care Service moves with that traffic — trailer hitched, mowers ready — cutting grass, edging drives and sidewalks, trimming the corners a mower cannot reach and tidying up behind. Midday here is bright to the point of white, and a lawn finished at that hour holds its lines sharp against the glare. Getting there promptly matters nearly as much as the cut, since grass left too long makes a harder day for everybody. From town out to Jonestown, Dublin and Tutwiler, the route simply runs where the work is.
