KB's Lawn & Landscape

About KB's Lawn & Landscape

Centreville sits down in the piney corner of southwest Mississippi, close enough to the Louisiana line that afternoon storms rise over the treetops with the smell of rain running ahead of them. KB's Lawn & Landscape works the lawns of that country — mowing, edging, trimming, gathering the clippings and putting a yard back in order after wind has been through. Between Wilkinson and Amite counties the grass takes all that humidity and runs with it, so mowing is a conversation kept up across the season rather than an errand. A cut lawn under those tall pines has a look of its own: shade-dappled, even underfoot, edged clean where the grass meets the drive. Out toward Gloster, Liberty and Woodville, the same care rides along in the trailer.
