Cliburn Woodwork

About Cliburn Woodwork

Lincoln County is loblolly country — pine rows leaning up the hills west of town, needles coming down in a slow copper drift all fall. Cliburn Woodwork keeps Brookhaven yards under that drift looking sharp, with mowing, trimming, bed edging and the steady haul-off of straw and limbs. Late in an October afternoon the light comes sideways through the pines and lands on a fresh-cut lawn in a way that shows exactly what the work is for. An even cut and a clean edge is a small kind of pride, but it holds up. The pines will keep dropping and the mowing will keep coming, and the yards between here and Bogue Chitto will go on showing the difference.
