Stringa Service Company

About Stringa Service Company

Wind comes off the water at the spillway and follows Lakeland into Brandon, and on a clear fall day it carries the whole town's cut-grass smell along with it. Stringa Service Company runs a route that stretches out that way — house to house, small property to small property, mowing and trimming and edging, then the seasonal work that piles up between: hedges brought back to shape, beds cleared, leaves moved off before a rain packs them down. Being a service company means being the number somebody calls when the yard has gotten ahead of them, whatever month it happens to be. The aim is simple and stubborn: leave every place looking finished. Brandon, Flowood, Reservoir and Pearl are all on the map.
