Magee Lawn Care

About Magee Lawn Care

Late August is the honest month for lawn work in Rankin County: the grass has slowed, the air has not, and the water jug sweats through by the third yard. Magee Lawn Care works the route in order anyway, one house then the next, mowing and trimming and edging while the cicadas keep up their long metallic hum in the pines. There is a rhythm to it that only shows up in the hard part of the season — steady, unrushed, every drive blown off before the truck moves. When September finally breaks the heat, the lawns that were kept through the worst of it are the ones that green back up first. Brandon, Pearl and Florence are where those weeks get spent.
