About Wade

In Boyle the Mississippi Delta lies flat as a tabletop, and the sun comes up over cotton and soybean fields with nothing at all in its way. Highway 61 runs straight past town toward Cleveland, and the rich alluvial soil that feeds those fields grows lawns just as eagerly. Wade keeps Boyle yards mowed, trimmed and neat against that endless horizon, where a squared-off border shows from a long way off. In the deep Delta summer, when the air hangs thick and the grass never seems to rest, a tended lawn is a small patch of order in a very big landscape. It is lawn care with a Delta sense of scale and a hometown address.
