About Taylor Lawn Care Services

Summer mornings on the Back Bay start before the heat does, and that is when Taylor Lawn Care Services is already unloading. Out past Popp's Ferry the water lies flat as a sheet of tin, a mullet breaks it, and the dew is still heavy enough to darken a pair of boots. By ten o'clock Biloxi will be pressing down hard, so the mowing gets done early — straight lines laid across thick St. Augustine, the string trimmer around every fence post and mailbox, the blower clearing the walk until the concrete looks swept. Lawn care on this coast is a long conversation with a grass that never really quits growing, and the answer is to show up week after week with sharp blades. What gets left behind is a yard with edges you could lay a ruler against and a driveway without a single clipping on it.
