About Michael Lawnmower

Evenings on the old streets near Oak, the cottages sit close and the yards are small enough to take in with one glance — which means every missed corner is visible from the porch. Michael Lawnmower keeps those little lawns honest: one clean cut, the edges trimmed by hand where the fence and the steps meet the grass, the walk swept before leaving. Simple work, done at a human scale, with nothing rushed about it. In Biloxi the grass hardly ever stops asking, so the visits keep coming and the yards never get away from anybody. A tidy small lawn at sundown is its own quiet reward.
