By mid-afternoon in August the thunderheads stack up over Cedar Point and everyone working outdoors starts watching the sky. Ike lawncare plans the day around that — mowing and edging first, then trimming and blowing, one more yard finished ahead of the first drops. Grass is cut to a single height, borders get a clean line, and the walkways go back to being walkways. Grown-in corners and wind-dropped limbs come out in yard cleanups, with hedges cut back when they crowd the porch. The route covers Bay St. Louis, Waveland and Pass Christian over the bridge.
