Shaffer's Landscaping and Firewood

About Shaffer's Landscaping and Firewood

Willow Springs sits high on the Ozark plateau, where oak and hickory hills roll off in every direction and the wind gets a longer run than people expect. Shaffer's Landscaping and Firewood mows, trims and edges lawns in town and out along the ridge roads, working ground that is rarely perfectly flat. Thin, rocky Ozark soil grows a tougher grass, and it rewards a cut that is not taken too low. Autumn on this plateau is a long, bright, drawn-out affair, and the yards get cleared of leaves as it goes. The finish is a lawn that fits its hillside instead of fighting it.
