Acres and Home Lawn Care

About Acres and Home Lawn Care

Almost nothing along the White River lies level; yards run off the hill in terraces and benches, with rock never far under the sod. Acres and Home Lawn Care works those grades on foot as much as on wheels — mowing flats and slopes in whatever order the land allows, trimming the steep shoulders, stone walls and tree lines by hand, and edging drives and paths until the shape of the property comes forward. Bigger acreage gets the same treatment, only in longer passes. Standing at the bottom of a finished hillside yard in the afternoon, the lines stepping up in order, is worth the climb it took to get them there. That is the work, week in and week out.
