About Allen's Tree Service, Inc.

February is the honest month for trees in Wentzville: the leaves are gone, the sap is low, and every crossed limb and dead stub stands out against a gray St. Charles County sky. Allen's Tree Service, Inc. reads that bare architecture and works from it — pruning for shape and clearance, taking down trees that have reached their end, and hauling the wood away so the yard beneath is ready for spring. Along Peruque Creek the old sycamores and oaks were growing long before the neighborhoods arrived around them, and they deserve careful hands. When the season turns, the lawns under the remaining canopy get mowed and kept as well. A well-pruned tree over a cared-for lawn is about as handsome a frame as a Missouri house can have.
