Squared Away Mowing

About Squared Away Mowing

Right angles are scarcer in nature than people think, which is why a well-mown yard in Webb stands out so plainly against the rumpled country around it. Squared Away Mowing lives up to its name: parallel passes laid down evenly, corners turned crisp, an edge cut where grass meets concrete so the line runs true from the street to the porch steps. Saturday at sunrise is the hour to see it, when the dew still holds the mower's track and the stripes show silver and green in the low light. The trimmer then finds the places no deck can reach — around the mailbox, under the fence rail, close beside the steps — and the last clippings are blown off the drive. When the truck pulls away, everything on the lot looks deliberate.
