The Wizard Of Lawns

About The Wizard Of Lawns

Spring rain in the Ozarks doesn't arrive politely — it comes over the hills all at once, fills the ditches, and leaves everything growing twice as fast by Thursday. The Wizard Of Lawns works the weeks after those storms around Waynesville and St. Robert, when a lawn needs cutting more than it needs anything else. The job is mowing to a rhythm the weather sets, trimming around fences and propane tanks and swing sets, and cutting the walk's edge back to a clean line. Yards here sit on slope and rock, so an even cut counts as a small victory every single time. Handed back tidy, a place somehow looks bigger than it did an hour earlier.
