About Lawn Allies LLC

Waverly stands on the south bluff of the Missouri River, and on summer mornings the bottomland below can lie buried in fog while the town itself sits in clear light. Lawn Allies LLC starts its rounds from Pine Street in that brightness, cutting yards on streets that look out toward the valley. Down on the water the US 65 bridge surfaces from the mist a girder at a time as the sun climbs, and by then the first lawns are already done. River-country soil grows grass with real ambition, so the season is steady work: mowing, string trimming, edging along the walks, clippings swept off the pavement. It is a fine thing to leave a yard looking its sharpest in a town where the view already does so much.
