About Jeff's Services

Fog pools in the low swales of Warren County long after the sun has found the ridgetops, and Warrenton wakes to the smell of cut grass and turned soil. Jeff's Services works those early hours, mowing yards on the rolling ground between the county's farm roads and the town's shaded streets. The lawns here run to slope and open sky, so the work is about reading the grade — mowing with it, trimming close to the fence lines, and blowing the walks clean before the day turns hot. By the time traffic on I-70 has thickened, there's a yard left behind with a straight seam where the turf meets the drive. It's plain work, done for the pleasure of how a place looks when it's finished.
