About Basile Landscaping & Lawn Care

Valley Park sits low against a bend of the Meramec River, close enough to the water that morning fog off the river often beats the plow trucks onto the streets. Basile Landscaping & Lawn Care works the bottomland blocks first, since river-bottom cold holds a glaze longer than the rest of St. Louis County ever sees. Driveways near the water get salted heavier, and walkways get swept clear before anyone heads for the bridge into Fenton or Kirkwood. The older river-town streets are narrow, so the plow runs them slow, blade tucked tight against curbs built before anyone thought about snowplows. By the time the fog burns off the river, the low streets are already dry.
