Ryken’s lawn care

About Ryken’s lawn care

Wind has a clear run at the yards around Union Chapel — nothing much between here and the next tree line to slow it — and in June it carries cottonwood seed across the grass like slow snow. Ryken's lawn care works with it rather than against it, mowing so the discharge goes where it should and blowing the drive downwind at the end. The lawns out here are wide, family-sized things with room for a ball to roll, and keeping them at an even height is what makes them usable. Trim the posts, edge the walk, sweep the concrete, go. A big open yard cut clean is one of the plainest good sights in this county.
