About Davis Mowing LLC

In October the black walnuts let go first, then the hickories, and a yard near Union Chapel can go from mowed to buried in about four windy days. Davis Mowing LLC works that turn of the year — the last cuts taken a little lower, the leaves ground down or hauled off, the beds and fence corners cleared before the ground gets cold. There is something satisfying about a final pass in autumn light, the mower quiet, the lawn set up to rest. Lawn care is not only the growing months; it is the closing-out too. Come the thaw, that same yard wakes up clean instead of matted.
