Logans lawn life

About Logans lawn life

The trailer goes on at first light and does not come off until the last yard in Twin Groves is done. Logans lawn life runs that kind of day — ramp down, mow, trim the fence line, edge the walk, blow the drive, ramp up, roll to the next one. Between stops there is gravel dust, the smell of cut grass on everything, and low green Missouri country rolling past the window. It adds up to a whole route of yards that all look tended on the same day of the week. There is plain pride in a finished list at dusk and nothing left over.
