About Oregon County Lawn Service, LLC

Thayer sits on the last of the Ozark hills before Arkansas, where the Warm Fork of the Spring River runs clear and cold over gravel and the ground turns to rock about a foot down. Oregon County Lawn Service, LLC mows that country — town lots on the old railroad grid, shop and church frontages, and places out toward Koshkonong and Alton where the yard runs to a fence and then straight to timber. Mowing, trimming, edging, brush and overgrowth cut back, and leaf and limb cleanup after the storms that come up the valley. Summer heat settles in the hollows here and does not move, so the work starts early and the water jug is a big one. A lawn cut level against that rough green hill country looks like an act of intention, and it is.
