About Country Landscaping

Down in the Bootheel, Steele sits on delta ground so flat that a summer thunderhead can be watched for an hour before it arrives. Country Landscaping tends yards across this Pemiscot County town, where cotton fields press close against the backyards and the Arkansas line lies just to the south. Late in the year, when the bolls split open white across the fields, a fresh-cut lawn shows up as a cool green answer to all that heat and haze. The mowing goes down in long, level rows that echo the farm country around it, and the trimming leaves every bed and walk neatly framed. It is landscaping with the patience of a place that knows how to wait for rain.
