Timberline Landscapes

About Timberline Landscapes

At sunset the Gateway Arch catches the light above the Mississippi and holds it for a long moment after the riverfront has slipped into shadow. Timberline Landscapes works on a more personal scale, shaping yards across St. Louis with landscaping and lawn care: planting beds, shrubs trimmed to form, turf mowed and edged. The city's summers run hot and humid and its winters swing between gray drizzle and bright cold, so a landscape here has to look composed in any weather. Done well, a yard frames a house the way the Arch frames the river, drawing the eye to everything around it. Evening is the hour to see it, when the light goes gold and the new-mown grass gives up the day's warmth.
