The Standard Lawn and Landscaping

About The Standard Lawn and Landscaping

St. Louis was built of red brick fired from its own clay, and its old neighborhoods still wear that warm color under spring's first green. The Standard Lawn and Landscaping sets lawns and plantings against that backdrop, mowing and edging turf, shaping beds and laying out landscapes suited to a city of stoops, iron fences and stone foundations. In April, when tulips stand up along the walks and the grass greens between storms, a thoughtful bed makes an old house look newly considered. Fitting the name, the measure is simple: borders that run straight, plantings with room to grow, and turf that meets the walk in a tidy seam. Under a mild spring sky, the whole facade seems to stand a little taller.
