Shrub Appeal

About Shrub Appeal

A front yard is the first sentence a house says. Along older avenues — deep porches, brick walks, hedges set close to the street — Shrub Appeal keeps that opening line clean: grass cut even, borders trimmed sharp, every bit of it blown back off the concrete. Trim work along a front walk is fussy on purpose, because a line that wanders reads from three houses away. There is honest pleasure in stepping back at the finish and seeing a yard sit square to the house again. Curb by curb, block by block, it adds up to a street people slow down for.
