About O'Hara Outdoors

Benton Park holds a small lake that goes still and iron-hard under the first hard freeze, ringed by narrow brick rowhouses that trace back to the neighborhood's old Irish streets. O'Hara Outdoors clears the drives and sidewalks radiating out from that park, working the kind of tight city lots where a shovel does more of the job than any machine could. The lake ice draws a few brave walkers even in the coldest weeks, and a clear path around its edge means fewer slips for anyone circling it before work. Streets here run close and quiet, and a fresh scrape down to brick sidewalk in the early dark has a way of making the whole block feel looked after. There's a particular satisfaction in finishing a Benton Park block just as the sky over the park starts to lighten.
